Our Business

Global Excel Management provides a comprehensive range of services to over 160 clients located around the world. We currently manage approximately 75,000 inpatient, outpatient and non-medical travel related emergencies per year. Our customers include some of the largest travel and major medical health insurance companies located around the world. Most negotiating arrangements permit Global Excel to be the exclusive Travel Assistance/Third Party Administrator/Network PPO.

Our Comprehensive Services

Global Excel is unique in that it serves as a single contact point for travellers encountering a healthcare emergency while in the United States, Mexico or the Caribbean. We provide full assistance (from the first call through to claim resolution), case management (steering patients to the preferred provider in the area), and processing of all the claims. The advantage to providers is that we reduce your overhead expenses significantly. Compared to other international or PPO firms, where communication may be required with as many as 3 separate companies (TPA, case management, and your contracted network PPO), Global Excel provides you with a single, efficient contact point.

Participating Provider Benefits

Global Excel offers the following provider benefits:

• Incremental Volume: Utilizing our web-based TalisPoint® referral system, Global Excel uses direct steerage and transfers by our case management team to direct business to your facility. Your hospital is entered as a participating provider in your service area and beyond. Our goal is to increase your patient volume and revenue.
  
  
• Ease of Operations: Dealing directly with our Global Excel team has advantages over dealing directly with an international insurance company. Problems with language issues and time differences are reduced and make the entire process, from admitting to accounts receivable, much smoother.
  
  
• Prompt Payment Provisions: Global Excel’s commitment to paying its bills promptly has served to strengthen our partnership and establish a bond of trust with our providers. We know that prompt payment is a very high priority for you and we work actively with both you and the Payor client to ensure prompt payment while abiding by the terms of our agreement.
