Global Excel uses a wide range of state-of-the-art telecommunication and data systems in order to ensure continuous availability and complete data protection. Our systems are designed with built-in scalability, which allows for growth while also permitting us to make optimum use of the Internet for electronic communications.

Our operating systems handle the entire assistance and case management process as well as claims adjudication. The system has been custom-built in-house and is linked to external software for reporting, data mining, and accounting. The system undergoes functional modifications continuously to fit our growing needs and our clients’ requirements. Over the past several years, investments in technology have been a primary focus for Global Excel, and we continue to expand and improve the system on an ongoing basis.

EDI

Global Excel has developed an Electronic Data Interface allowing clients to send us their claims data electronically using the industry standard 837 format. Using a highly optimized repricing engine, applicable claims are quickly repriced and sent back to the client for payment. Claims falling outside defined norms are separated for manual intervention and may be routed through a non-EDI compatible network or perhaps negotiated. The EDI system is completely 'tune-able' on a client-by-client basis; if clients have preferred networks we are able to completely control the routing process. Using the EDI system, turnaround times can be dramatically reduced without any negative effect on savings.
